Along with document being served (e.g. Summons and Complaint, Summons with Notice, etc.), Notice of Automatic Orders DRL 236 and possibly Notice Concerning Continuation of Health Care Coverage DRL 255(1) must be provided. Also, should there be a need to enter a default judgment because defendant doesn’t answer summons, ESLS must have a photograph of the defendant, OR plaintiff must accompany the server at time of service.
